Project Description
Whatcom Environmental provided stormwater compliance management and technical support for a major industrial facility construction project as required by the Washington State Department of Ecology Construction Stormwater General Permit. The project encompassed approximately 25 acres and lasted for 29 months. Whatcom Environmental personnel performed weekly stormwater inspections which included turbidity measurements and an evaluation of all onsite best management practices (BMPs). Whatcom Environmental also participated in weekly team meetings to efficiently disseminate information and maintain an open dialogue with the client and all contractors involved. Whatcom Environmental provided project support from the ground-breaking all the way through to final stabilization.
